How much do estate agent boards cost in Northern Ireland?
A for sale board is rarely bought as a single item. Most Northern Ireland agencies buy a managed service, where the cost per property covers the board, the post and fittings, erecting it, moving it to Sold, and taking it away again. Judge it on cost per property listed, not on the price of a sheet of Correx.

How long can estate agent boards stay up in Northern Ireland?
In Northern Ireland a for sale or to let board is generally permitted while the property is genuinely on the market, and must be removed within fourteen days of the sale or letting completing. One board per property is the norm, and boards on listed buildings or in conservation areas can need express consent.

Do I need planning permission for a shop sign in Northern Ireland?
Many shop signs in Northern Ireland need advertisement consent from the local council, particularly illuminated signs, projecting signs, and anything on a listed building or in a conservation area. Some small non-illuminated signs on a commercial premises are permitted without express consent, but the exceptions are narrow.
